The red rocks of the park
The Scandola reserve is one of the jewels of Corsica, in the town of Osani. Inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1975, this natural park attracts large numbers of visitors in all seasons. Old red granite cliffs, obtained from an ancient volcano that collapsed at sea, are present. These volcanic complexes have an area of approximately 700 km². Animals and plant species of Scandola
